Mathematics Training in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Prambanan

Implementing one of Higher Education “Tridharma”, Mathematics Education, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Ahmad Dahlan University (FKIP-UAD) carried out Mathematics training for teachers. This training is part of community service program (PPM) carried out in the hall of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Prambanan.

This program lasted for three days, Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday (October, 29-30 and November, 1 2016). This program not only provided training but also mentoring of mathematics learning materials for teachers of Muhammadiyah Junior high school (SMP) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah  in the region of district board of muhammadiyah (PDM) Klaten.

Some topics presented on this community service Program are “improving math learning” delivered by Drs. Sunaryo, M.Pd., Uswatun Hasanah, M.Sc., and Siti Nur Rohmah, M.PMat, the second material, “the use of Macromedia Flash” dilevered by Afit Istiandaru, M.Pd. The third is the “introduction of GeoGebra” by Soffi Widyanesti, M.Sc, Burhanuddin Arif, M.Sc and Rusmining, M.Pd.

The activities were carried out through direct assignment or by electronic mail (E-mail). The training is attended by 23 teachers of mathematics and 10 principals
