UNIVERSITY FACILITY
In playing its roles as an educational institution, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) is occupied with varied infrastructures as well as supporting facilities needed to carry out its tasks.
Those facilities include library, laboratory, developmental activities (interest-aptitude), spiritual guidance, internet service, online tuition fee payment, and places of worship (masjid/mosque) that can be found in the five units of the campus, located in the Main Campus on Jl. Ahmad Yani (Ringroad Selatan), Kragilan, Tamanan, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta; Kampus I at Jalan Kapas 9 Semaki; Kampus II at Jalan Pramuka 42, Sidikan; Kampus III at Jalan Prof. Dr. Soepomo, S.H., Janturan, Warungboto, Yogyakarta; and Kampus V at Jalan Ki Ageng Pemanahan 19 Sorosutan Yogyakarta.
Library
Library is an independent learning medium for the academic community of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, in particular, and the community, in general.
In its development, the library has the commitment to keep improving its roles by expanding its collection and improving its infrastructure as well as prioritizing an optimum service.
Another facility of the library of UAD that is greatly helpful in its service is the internet.
The library provides a number of services for its users, including:
- Book borrowing. The service is available for anyone who has a membership card. For those who do not own the membership card, they can read the book(s) in the reading room.
- Information search. The service is available for anyone, either from UAD or not, and is a fast and accurate information search program through an online catalog (http://digilib.uad.ac.id)
- Reference. The service was given by providing reference collections, including scientific papers/ research reports, government publications, encyclopedia, dictionaries, and others.
Academic Lecture Supporting Facility
Student academic activity/lecture supporting facility and infrastructure are available in the forms of meeting room, laboratory and workshop at Campus 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of UAD. The laboratory and workshop are used to facilitate and strengthen the students’ scientific knowledge (theories and concepts), especially in practice. Besides, both the students and the lecturers may use the facilities for research activities/ experiments or for developing theories, interest-aptitude, engineering, expertise and profession.
The total number of libraries owned by UAD is 143, including: 42 laboratories for the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, 11 laboratories for the Faculty of Public Health, 7 laboratories for the Faculty of Pharmacy, 5 laboratories for the Faculty of Medicine, 16 laboratories for the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology, 31 laboratories for the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, 10 laboratories for the Faculty of Economics and Business, 8 laboratories for the Faculty of Literature, Culture and Communication, 6 laboratories for the Faculty of Psychology, and 7 laboratories for the Faculty of Law.
Co-curricular Activity
In Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, there are Student Activity Units (UKM) as well as intra- and extracurricular organizations. In those institutions and organizations, the students can develop their interests, aptitude and abilities, either in the field of entrepreneurship or business, academic sciences, sports and arts, or in the field of preaching. Every Student Activity Unit is equipped with an office room in the Student Center complex, located on Jalan Kapas, Semaki, Yogyakarta.
Well-Being Facility
Policlinic
In order to provide service to the academic community of UAD, a policlinic is available in every UAD campus. The services of the policlinics are available every day within the working hours. Besides, Dana Sehat Muhammadiyah, which is a health service facility, is also provided and can be used in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta, which is located on Jalan K. H.A. Dahlan, Yogyakarta. Free doctor examination service is also available at UAD Pharmacy on Jalan Cendana, Yogyakarta.
Student Cooperative (KOPMA)
KOPMA of UAD has long had a number of businesses in the form of stores that are open every day within the working hours. KOPMA’s objectives include:
- Improving the well-being of the members through business activities and member guidance to be a professional and strong cadre.
- Participating in guiding and developing cooperative movement in order to establish the national economy to realize democratic economy.

Mosque and Spiritual Guidance
Universitas Ahmad Dahlan has 4 (four) mosques, each located at Campus 1, 2, 3, 4 and 1 (one) musholla (prayer room) located at Campus 5. As a Muhammadiyah Higher Education Institution, UAD has a moral commitment to nurture Islamic values in the academic community. Some religious mental guidance activities held at UAD are as follows:
- Congregational Obligatory and Jummah Prayer
- Routine religious gathering for the academic community (conducted monthly by the Board of Islamic Study Development (LPSI))
- Mubaligh Hijrah Dispatch (coordinated by the Board of Islamic Study Development (LPSI) with a collaboration with the Regional Board of Muhammadiyah (PWM) of DIY)
- Ramadhan in Kampus (RDK) by Takmir (Mosque Manager) and the academic community of UAD
- Student Tahsin Accompaniment

Internet Facility
Universitas Ahmad Dahlan provides internet access facility through LAN (computer network bridge), hotspot area for each campus area, e-mail account, and blog and website with a domain of uad.ac.id by registering through the Bureau of Information and Communication (BISKOM) that is located on the 2nd floor of ITC Building at Campus 1, or by visiting the website at biskom.uad.ac.id
Website Facility
The online services that can be accessed by either students or parents include:
- UAD Portal at http://portal.uad.ac.id
Portal is a system that allows the academic community of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan to receive information faster through the internet. The system is expected to make it easier for the academic community to conduct academic activities as well as teaching and learning process.
UAD Portal can also be accessed by the parents of the students by using the username and password that can be obtained through the Administration Office (TU) of each faculty.

Online Tuition Fee Payment Facility
Every UAD student can pay the tuition fee online through a number of banks, including BRI, Conventional BNI, and Sharia BNI all over Indonesia as well as through BPD DIY and BSM, BUKOPIN, and Mini Bank of Ar Rahman (located at campus).
