The graduates will have competences in the field of Al-Qur’an interpretation and Hadith studies, be able to apply the result of the interpretation while at work and in the community, as well as having the willingness to keep making efforts in the interpretation of Al-Qur’an and Hadith through in-depth research.

The lecturers of the study program consist of permanent lecturers of the institution, civil servant (PNS) lecturers, and adjunct lecturers. The categories for the adjunct lecturers are guest and practitioner, such as preacher, consultant, researcher, writer, Islamic boarding school caretaker, and others. There are 6 permanent lecturers with the following details: 1 professor and 5 lecturers who are currently pursuing their doctoral degree.

The learning and teaching processes are supported by a number of facilities, including: classrooms with air conditioner, computer laboratory, hotspot area, and student dormitory. The students’ studies are also supported by the multimedia digital-based academic service facility and study groups (interpretation studies, hadith studies, preaching training). There are also a number of scholarships and financial assistance (Ministry of Religious Affairs of RI, Supersemar, UAD, Lazis, BBM Scholarship, and PPA Scholarship), as well as double degree program.
