FACULTY OF PSYCHOLOGY
The Faculty of Psychology of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan provides the best competitive education for its students to become highly dedicated professional scholars with Islamic morals and ethics. To achieve this goal, the Faculty of Psychology is supported by professional, creative and innovative human resources. The curriculum structure is constantly developed in order to answer the needs of the era. In addition, research is constantly being encouraged to find the best solutions to respond to community problems with the hope of realizing a civilized society that is blessed by Allah SWT.

To become the community-based center for the development of psychology that is integrated with Islamic values and is internationally recognized
Mision
- To produce graduates who are noble and capable in handling community problems from the perspective of community psychology who uphold Islamic values
- To develop education, research, and community service (Tri Dharma) oriented towards community empowerment at the local, national and international levels
- To build an academic atmosphere based on the values of: respect for diversity, concern for the environment, collaboration and empowerment
- To facilitate the development of human resources into professionals with a noble character
- To develop transparent and accountable faculty governance
Objectives
The aim of the Psychology study program at the Faculty of Psychology of UAD is to produce professional human resources with Islamic personalities in the field of Psychology who:
- Understand the basic knowledge of psychology and objective observation techniques to interpret human behaviour according to psychological principles and Islamic values, both for individuals and groups
- Get to know a variety of psychological measurement tools as well as understanding their functions and purposes
- Are able to show sensitivity to biopsychosocial and moral values and problems in the Indonesian context
- Are able to conduct research in the field of Psychology
- Are able to appreciate and implement ethical codes of research and professional knowledge
- Are able to implement the concepts of psychology with Islamic, Muhammadiyah, and humanism values
- Have analysis understanding and carefulness in terms of community service and problem solving from psychological and Islamic perspectives
