FACULTY OF APPLIED SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
As the oldest faculty at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), the Faculty of Science and Applied Technology (FAST) always improves its quality and service to become a superior, professional and competitive educational institution in producing graduates of teacher and teaching staff who have competence standards as educators who uphold high Islamic moral values. To realize it, FAST of UAD always improves the professionalism of the academic staff in accordance with the specialization of the scientific disciplines, as well as improving the quality of research and community service on an ongoing basis in order to increase the academic level of the academic personnel and support the improvement of the quality of graduate competencies in education.

To become a superior faculty in the mastery and development of Science and Applied Technology to sustain technological advancement, have an international perspective, and be based on Islamic values
Mision
- To carry out academic programs in the field of Science and Applied Technology that are of high quality for the development of science and technology based on Islamic values
- To organize and improve lecturer and student research and encourage research and scientific publication climate in the field of Science and Applied Technology
- To organize and improve services and community service in the field of Science and Applied Technology
- To organize and enhance cooperation with the government and private institutions in the fields of education, research, and community service, both on national and international level
Objectives
- To produce quality human resources to develop science and technology who have a noble and responsible character and uphold the values of Islamic teachings so as to be able to contribute optimally in shaping the nation’s character
- To produce professional and competitive graduates in accordance with their scientific fields
- To improve the quality and relevance of science and applied technology research to community problems
- To improve the quality of lecturers and education staff
