MASTER OF PROFESSION PSYCHOLOGY

To become a professional psychology program with a global outlook that is integrated with Islamic values, excels in learning and developing psychology and is oriented towards community empowerment

Graduates of Master of Psychology Profession Program of UAD can be lecturers in higher education institutions, researchers and practitioners as psychologists, for example in companies, hospitals, community health centers, psychology consultancy bureaus, and private practices. Graduates can also work in crisis centers because they have been provided with assessment and treatment ability in handling psychological trauma or crises due to disasters or other life crises.

Until now, the graduates of Master of Psychology Profession Program of UAD are spread in various regions in Indonesia as lecturers, psychologists in hospitals and health centers, in industry, in the National Narcotics Agency, and opened an independent psychology service bureau.

Supported by competent teaching staff of psychologists who graduated from Gadjah Mada University, Padjajaran University, UMEA Sweden, Monash University, University of Pahang Malaysia and several other universities both in Indonesia and abroad, the Master of Psychology Profession is able to compete in improving the quality of learning and can contribute in the academic field, both in the application of scientific knowledge and in community service. The teaching staff consists of 10 lecturers with doctoral degree, as well as 14 psychologists with experience of more than 5 years.

Student practice activities are supported by Psychology Laboratory facilities including the Child Observation Laboratory, Counseling Laboratory, and Child Growth Laboratory. In addition, the study program also provides internet access facilities via LAN (computer platform) and Hotspot Areas, as well as a library equipped with a digital library (http://digilib.uad.ac.id) and a comfortable discussion room to support student activities in studying the science of psychology and its development. Air-conditioned lecture rooms with various facilities, including LCD Projectors, Audio Visual, and others, are part of the excellent service to create a comfortable academic atmosphere as a place of learning. The existence of UAD Pharmacy, canteen, student cooperative, ADI Cooperative (lecturer-employee) and various services make it easier for students to access various needs while on the UAD campus.
