Rumahku Adalah Surgaku

Itulah tema yang diangkat dalam acara Tabligh Akbar, Minggu (24/4/2016). Acara yang diprakarsai oleh Lembaga Pengembangan Studi Islam Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (LPSI UAD) ini mendapat respons sangat baik dari mahasiswa dan masyarakat umum. Terbukti, ribuan orang memadati Masjid Ahmad Dahlan, yang berlokasi di Kompleks Islamic Center, kampus IV UAD, Jalan Ringroad Selatan, Bantul.

Dalam acara tersebut, menghadirkan dua pembicara. Mereka adalah Ustadz Bachtiar Natsir, Lc. dan Ustadz Okrizal Eka Putra. Masing-masing memberikan taushiyah tentang “Bagaimana Menciptakan Suatu Keluarga Agar Dapat Bersama-sama Menuju Surga-Nya.”

Okrizal yang merupakan Dosen Fakultas Psikologi UAD ini menyebutkan bahwa ciri-ciri penghuni surga yang paling umum adalah di atas rata-rata. Maksudnya, kemampuan yang dimiliki seseorang, baik spiritual, emosional, dan intelektual, dapat dikendalikan dengan baik. Sebagai contoh adalah orang yang mampu memaafkan orang lain.

Memaafkan merupakan hal yang paling sulit bagi setiap orang. Namun, jika seseorang mampu memaafkan orang lain, maka ia termasuk calon penghuni surga. Karena tentu tiga kemampuannya tadi telah terasah dengan baik.

Sementara itu, berbicara tentang “Rumahku adalah Surgaku”, tidak terlepas dari membina rumah tangga. Menikah sendiri hukumnya mubah. Tetapi, akan menjadi wajib jika dirasa sudah memenuhi kriteria untuk menjalankannya.

Dalam pembahasan Ustadz Bachtiar Natsir, Lc., terdapat beberapa langkah mencari pasangan untuk bersama-sama membina rumah tangga berdasarkan ajaran Islam demi menuju surga-Nya kelak. Memilih pasangan berdasarkan tuntunan Rasulullah Saw. telah dianjurkan dalam Islam. Namun yang terpenting adalah ia yang baik agamanya, karena itu merupakan proses menciptakan Baiti Jannati.

Dari hal tersebut, akan didapatkan kenikmatan di dunia dan akhirat. Yakni memiliki jodoh yang shalih/shalihah, memiliki keturunan yang shalih/shalihah, serta dapat tercipta hubungan rumah tangga yang berasas sakinah (ketenangan jiwa), mawaddah (cinta kasih), dan warahmah (kasih sayang). (AKN)

 

Home Sweet Home

That was the theme of Tabligh Akbar or Great Islamic Proselytizer managed by Islamic Study Development Board of Ahmad Dahlan University (LPSI UAD) on Sunday (24/4/2016). This event received good response from public and students as there were many of them attended this event at Ahmad Dahlan Mosque in Islamic Center, UAD Campus IV, South Ring road, Bantul. 

Two speakers delivered their speeches. Ustadz Bachtiar Natsir, Lc. and Ustadz Okrizal Eka Putra who successively presented the topic of How to Build A Good Family to Become Residents of Allah’s Heaven.

Okrizal, a lecturer of Psychology Faculty UAD said that the characteristics of Paradise residents are those who are spiritually, emotionally and intellectually above average. It means they are able to manage those potentials well. An example of them is the characteristic of forgiving others.   

To forgive others is difficult for ordinary persons. If one could do so, he or she deserves to be a paradise resident for he must be able to manage the three potentials.

The theme Home Sweet Home is related to family building. The law of marriage is mu’bah (a matter of choice), but it becomes compulsory under certain conditions. 

In his presentation, Ustadz Bachtiar Natsir, Lc. said that there were some requirements in Islam to find a partner for a family to be prospective residents of paradise. Finding the partner is encouraged in Islam. But, the most important is religious obedience for it is the basic step toward religious deeds to constitute Baiti Jannati or Home Sweet Home.

By practicing religious deeds, a family will always create happy atmosphere here in the world and will be happy hereafter at heaven. There will be a husband, a wife, and children of obedience, which result in Sakinah or peaceful, mawaddah or affectionate, and warahmah caring conditions. (AKN) 

660 Mahasiswa UAD Dapat Beasiswa

Selasa (3/5/2016), di depan ruang rektorat kampus I Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) berbaris menunggu antrean mengambil uang beasiswa dengan tunai.

“Sebanyak 660 mahasiswa yang menerima beasiswa tahun ini. Sebelumnya, tahun 2015 ada 650 mahasiswa yang menerima beasiswa. Jumlah uang yang diterima oleh mahasiswa 840 ribu rupiah,” terang Darwis, Staf  Biro Kemahasiswaan dan Alumni (BIMAWA) saat ditemui di kantornya.

Penerima beasiswa merata di semua prodi.

“Kami mengambil 15% setiap angka angkatan. Setiap prodi akan dipilih melalui beberapa seleksi.”

Untuk mendapatkan beasiswa, kata Darwis. IPK harus tinggi, nilai Ujian Nasional juga harus tinggi.

“Selain itu, seleksi juga dilakukan dari penghasilan orang tua. Orang tua berpenghasilan rendah atau masih mempunyai tanggungan, maka diutamakan,” lanjutnya.

Darwis menambahkan, mahasiswa yang sudah mendapat beasiswa dari UAD, ia tidak akan mendapat beasiswa dalam waktu bersamaan, misal dalam satu tahun. Termasuk beasiswa yang diberikan oleh mitra UAD. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk pemerataan.

“Mahasiswa akan dapat beasiswa jika mereka mengajukan tahun depannya. Atau mereka mengajukan ke Pemerintah Daerah (Pemda), itu boleh. Kami juga mendukung.”

Pengambilan beasiswa berlangsung sejak pukul 08.00-1200.

“Pengambilan uang berlangsung kondusif dan cepat. Jika semua mematuhi aturan, maka semua akan berjalan mudah. Kami juga tidak lelah meski mengurus banyak mahasiswa,” ujar Imong, satpam kampus I yang menjaga sekaligus mengumumkan mahasiswa yang sudah siap mengambil uang.

 

660 Scholarships from UAD

Tuesday (3/5/2016), there queued in front of University of Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) rectorate office a number of 660 students to draw cash money of UAD’s scholarship.

‘A number of 660 students are awarded scholarship this year an increase of the last year 650 scholarships. Every student gets an amount of Rp. 840.000,00,’ said Darwis a staff member of Bureau for Students Affairs and Alumni (BIMAWA) at his office.

‘They are 15% of first year students from all departments of UAD selected through different phases. One of the requirements to get the scholarship is high GPA and high score of national examination besides the consideration of their parents’ low wages,’ he explained.

 Darwis also said that the already getting scholarship cannot receive other grants either from UAD or from other institution cooperating with UAD. This is done to give equal chances for all students.

‘A student can get another scholarship the following year either from UAD or from local government (Pemda),’ he said.

The drawing of money lasted from 08.00 to 12.00 local time.

‘The drawing of money was fast and conducive. Should everyone follow the procedure, everything runs well. We are not tired in serving the students,’ said Imong a security officer at Campus I as he was watching the queue and calling the turn.

Again, A Great Islamic Proselytizer Was Managed by LPSI UAD

Ustadz Bachtiar Natsir, Lc. a national figure came to deliver a speech on Great Islamic Proselytizer held by University of Ahmad dahlan (UAD) at Grand Mosque Islamic Center Complex on South Ring Road, Banguntpan Bantul, on Monday (24/4/2016). The second speech was given by Ustadz Okrizal Eka Putra a UAD lecturer at Psychology Department.

More than 1000 hundred people of students and public around the area attended the speeches with the theme Baitiy Jannatiy or Home Sweet Home.            

The theme Baitiy Jannatiy was presented to discuss a section of Ustadz Bachtiar Natsir’s book entitled Masuk Syurga Sekeluarga or Becoming Heaven’s Resident with All Family, which was first published last March.

In the event the people were encouraged to give alms. The fund was intended to support orphans for the coming Ramadhan or the fasting month.

‘This is a part of our program,’ said Thonthowi, S.Ag., M.Hum. the chairman of Islamic Study Development Board (LPSI) UAD. He added that Islamic Center Complex is founded to be center of Islamic activities in Yogyakarta Special Province (DIY) and around.

‘We are inviting national figures for the next three months and international figures for next five months. This done to find new Islamic perceptions,’ he said. (AKN)

LPSI UAD Kembali Adakan Tabligh Akbar

Ustadz Bachtiar Natsir, Lc., yang dikenal sebagai tokoh nasional, datang untuk mengisi acara Tabligh Akbar di Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) bersama Ustadz Okrizal Eka Putra, Dosen Fakultas Psikologi UAD. Acara tersebut diadakan pada Minggu (24/4/2016) di Masjid Ahmad Dahlan, Kompleks Islamic Center UAD, Jalan Ringroad Selatan, Tamanan Banguntapan, Bantul.

Lebih dari 1000 orang memenuhi masjid untuk mengikuti kajian Tabligh Akbar bertema “Baiti, Jannati” (Rumahku, Surgaku) tersebut. Mereka berasal dari mahasiswa UAD serta masyarakat umum.

Tema “Baiti, Jannati” sengaja diambil untuk mengupas sebagian pembahasan yang terdapat dalam buku karya Ustadz Bachtiar Natsir, Lc. Buku tersebut berjudul Masuk Surga Sekeluarga, dan baru diterbitkan pada Maret lalu.

Dalam acara, juga diselipkan kegiatan berinfaq. Penghimpunan dana ditujukan  untuk santunan anak yatim di bulan Ramadhan mendatang.

“Ini memang bagian dari program kami,” kata Thonthowi, S.Ag., M.Hum. selaku Ketua LPSI (Lembaga Pengembangan Studi Islam) UAD. Ia menambahkan bahwa Kompleks Islamic Center didirikan untuk dijadikan sebagai pusat kegiatan keislaman di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), dan sekitarnya.

“Kami telah merencanakan untuk rentang waktu tiga bulan mengundang tokoh-tokoh nasional. Dan dalam lima bulan mendatangkan tokoh internasional. Ini kami lakukan sebagai upaya membuat perubahan baru dalam peradaban Islam,” tuturnya lagi. (AKN)
