Indonesian Language Teaching Program in Western Australia for Bachelor’s Degree Graduates

Balai Bahasa Indonesia Perth, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Perth and the Ministry of Education of Western Australia, is currently re-organizing the Language Assistant Program (LAP) of 2019 for Indonesian youth. Bachelor’s degree graduates majoring in Indonesian or English language education can participate in this program. Four candidates will be selected to help teach Indonesian at schools in Western Australia.

Language Assistant Program will be held for one year, from January to December 2019. The participants will earn a salary of AU $ 1,400 (about 14.7 million rupiah) from the Australian Department of Education every two weeks.

The requirements for the application include: must not be more than 31 years old as of December 31st, 2019, in accordance with Australian immigration visa conditions; have completed undergraduate study (S1) majoring in Indonesian or English education; having good command of English (oral and written) with an IELTS score of at least 6.5 or a TOEFL score of at least 600; be available to conduct telephone or online interviews during the selection process (if required); be able to conduct a health examination at the designated institution (if elected); ready and willing to be placed at any location in Western Australia.
