The Profile of Dr. Nanik Sulistyani
Dr. Nanik Sulistyani, M.Si., Apt, is one of University of Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) lecturers, who recently obtained her doctorate degree. She who was born on December 20th, 1067 got her degree with the dissertation entitled The Selection of Bacteria Producing Anti-bacteria Compound through Molecular and Infra-Red Spectroscopy Approach. Though, it belonged to a difficult research area, the lecturer at Pharmacy Faculty at UAD could finish it and got the doctor degree.
Nanik, her nickname, finished her undergraduate study at Pharmacy Faculty UGM in 1992. And then continued her study at the post graduate in the same faculty. She finished it in 2000. This did not end there, the mother of two children felt it necessary to continue her study. She continued her study at faculty of medicine at the same university majoring in Medicine and Health Program. By working hard, she graduated in April 2016 with the title cumlaude.
Nanik has been teaching at UAD since 1996. Before this she worked at a hospital. Besides being a lecturer, she is also the head of Integrated Research Laboratory at Faculty of Pharmacy UAD. She is also active in different organizations in her village. (AU)
