The International Affairs Office of University of Ahmad Dahlan (KUI-UAD) held a Data Analysis Training in cooperation with Six Capital, Singapore the Indonesian chapter. The event took place at Auditorium Hall Campus 1, 9 Kapas Street, Semaki, Yogyakarta, on Tuesday (12/4/2016).
As many as 100 students of all UAD faculties followed the event.
It was the first program done by the representatives from Six Capital of Singapore to directly train the students as a result of the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on (8/4/2016). The event is expected to do regularly. The KUI press release says.
There are some points of agreement between UAD and Six Capital. One of them is that UAD as a higher education institution should provide computer laboratory and internet connection. About 100 students are interested in studying Data analysis intensively.
Six Capital as the partner must prepare the materials for the training such as E-learning and online guidance. It also provides internationally recognized trainers, software, and certificates for the students accomplishing the training well.
Furthermore, Nurun a KUI staff said, ‘If a student is able to show good performance in the training, he is given a chance to follow a pre-service training in Six Capital in Indonesia even in Singapore.
This is one of UAD steps to prepare the students to join in Asian free trade. Besides, the training opens chances for students to get direct experience before finishing the study.
