The development of information technology will be needed to facilitate the implementation of education. Therefore, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), as one of the universities that has nearly 30 thousand students, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Indosat Tbk.
The memorandum of understanding between the two parties was signed by the Rector of UAD, Dr. Kasiyarno, M.Hum., and Fuli Humaeroh, Group Head Regional Accounts of Indosat Ooredoo. On this occasion, Kasiyarno revealed that UAD would be developed into a university with the use of advanced technology. "Information technology is a part of science. Both complement each other. With technological sophistication, all information can be easily accessed, collected, managed and presented. "
With this easy access, the education process will become more attractive. There are many variations of learning methods that can be applied to increase knowledge for the learning process not to be monotonous and conventional.
Kasiyarno shared his expercation that lecturers at UAD were creative and innovative in developing information technology-based learning. "All lecturers must be technology literate, so they can create interesting learning media for students."
UAD has been collaborating with Indosat since 2014. So far, the collaboration between UAD and Indosat has supported the implementation of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi including education, research, and community service.
On the other hand, Fuli Humaeroh expressed her gratitude for the trust given for Indosat Ooredoo to be able to collaborate with UAD. "We will provide the best telecommunication solutions for UAD. Indosat strongly supports the advancement of Indonesian education. With this cooperation, we hope to prepare young people with technological insights."
