International Seminar: Current Issue of Non Communicable Disease
Faculty of Public Health University of Ahmad dahlan (FKM – UAD) held an international seminar on Current Issue of Non-communicable Disease at Cavinton Hotel yogyakarta on May 25th – 26th , 2016.
According to Asep Rustiawan, M.Sc., chief of committee, this topic is currently discussed due to the increase of the diseases in Indonesia as well as all over the world.
The event, which is annually held, invited speakers of other countries such as Prof. Dr. Supanee from Khon Kaen University, Thailand; Ciptasari Prabawati, M.Sc. Ph.D. from USA and the keynote speaker was Prof. Ali Ghufron Mukti, M.Sc. Ph.D.
The participants and the presenters come from the country and abroad. In the first day, the researchers presented their research results while in the second day the presenters from call for paper discussed non-communicable diseases.
drh. Asep Rustiawan, M.Sc. as the chief of the committee hopes that this event can promote more researches on non-communicable and other diseases to develop community’s health.
