Seven UAD Lecturers And Administrative Staff To Go On A Pilgrimage
As has been done in the previous years, this year, University of Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) send its lecturers/staff to go on a haj pilgrimage. Those are to be sent include Dr. Thoifur (Msthematics and Science Faculty), Endah Utami, S.T., M.T. and Kartika Firdausi (Faculty of Industrial Technology), Hendra Darmawan, S.Pd. M.A., and Drs. Sunaryo, M.Pd. (Faculty of Teacher Training and Education), Latifa Rahmawati and Lu’lu Nafiati (Faculty of Economics).
‘Alahamdulillah, after a long wait, we are declared to join the pilgrimage,’ said Thoifur when giving a speech on behalf of the members of haj pilgrims at syawwalan gathering at Auditorium Campus I last Saturday (16/07/2016).
The UAD pilgrims are scheduled to leave for Mecca on August 17th 2016. ‘On behalf of the pilgrims, let us say farewell to all of you. We wish you pray for our 40 day journey. Excuse us and permit us to go on leave to achieve mabrur haj and to be more useful persons in the future,’ said him.
The pilgrims leave their families and colleagues on August, 17th 2016 the Indonesia’s Independence day. So far, UAD has sent 40 pilgrims to Mecca.
