Vision
Vision of FTI UAD Food Technology Study Program:
“To become a study program that is superior in the field of halal food technology and industry, is internationally recognized, has entrepreneurial spirit and is based on Islamic values.”
Mision
Mission of FTI UAD Food Technology Study Program:
- To organize education and develop competent human resources in the field of food technology and industry who have entrepreneurial spirit and uphold Islamic values
- To carry out research, development, and application of food technology innovations that meet halal aspects and national quality standards
- To increase strategic cooperation between academicians, the community, government, and national and international food industry sector in establishing partnerships in the field of food technology
- To build a functional food industry based on Indonesia’s local food potentials through the development of a business incubator and trading house
- To carry out community service in the form of teaching, training, and dissemination of research results based on scientific knowledge of food technology
Objectives
The Food Technology Study Program (PSTP) of UAD aims to:
- To make UAD a center of excellence in the field of food technology and industry, halal food assessment, and the modernization and commercialization of Indonesian local foods
- To produce human resources in the field of food technology and industry that are professional, noble, have an entrepreneurial and national spirit, and have a global outlook
- To develop, utilize, and disseminate food science and technology so that the graduates are always relevant to the needs of the community, the development of Indonesia, for the realization of advanced Islam and the benefit of the people in general
Graduate Prospects
UAD Food Technology Alumni have the prospects of working as nutritionists, practitioners in the pharmaceutical industry, practitioners in the food and beverage industry, practitioners in the hospitality industry, practitioners in the restaurant industry, practitioners in the export and import industry, entrepreneurs in the food sector, working in government agencies (BULOG, BPOM, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry, LIPI, BPPT etc.), working for BUMN, and working as a teacher/ lecturer.
