LAW STUDIES STUDY PROGRAM
The Faculty of Law was founded in 1997 to hold a Bachelor of Laws education to prepare students to become competent, skilled and capable Law graduates who are able to analyze and develop strategies to solve legal problems in the society. Its vision is to become the leading Law Study Program in mastering science and legal skills that has a global perspective and is based on Islamic values and integrated with the spirit of renewal. One of the missions is to carry out quality educational program that is relevant to the development of legal science, technology and the dynamics of local, national and international communities with an academic atmosphere on campus. Graduates will hold a Bachelor of Law (S.H.) degree.

Objectives
- To produce Bachelor of Law graduates who have superior competence in the field of science and law as well as having noble character, integrity and professionalism
- To improve legal research results that are integrated with the spirit of renewal that are relevant to the needs of local, national and international communities as well as the advancement of legal knowledge
- To implement the role of the academic community in the development of advanced legal science
- To improve the quality of human resources who have superior competence in the field of law and have a noble character
- To implement mutually beneficial strategic cooperation with local, national and international partners
Competency
Producing graduates with integrity and ability to give advice on the changes/ improvements of the system/ structure, as well as the substance and legal culture in the society with the knowledge in the field of law, sensitivity to a sense of justice, and communication skills in the field of law
Lecturers
The lecturers consist of permanent lecturers, guest lecturers, practitioners, namely judges, prosecutors and advocates, and alumni from various domestic and foreign universities: Gadjah Mada University, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Universitas Al-Azhar, Cairo. The number of permanent lecturers is 15 people who, on average, hold master’s degree. Four of them are pursuing doctoral degrees and 1 lecturer has a professor title.
Supporting facilities
Lectures are supported by a number of facilities including lecture rooms with LCD and audio-visual facilities, library, mosque, canteen, parking space, and Wi Fi areas. In addition, there is a legal laboratory and Consultation and Legal Aid Center (PKBH) that serves advocacy and assistance in civil and criminal cases, legal consultations, legal opinion making, legal drafting, policy consultancy, legal training, legal counseling and research, the Study Center for Constitution and Democracy (PSKD), Pseudo Judicial Room and Library of the Study Program.
