The Importance of Communication

Communication especially social media is one of services the students get from university in this global era.

‘Due to the importance of communication especially related to Information Technology (IT) University of Ahmad Dahlan provides internet quota as much as 795 Mbps,’ said Dr. Kasiyarno, M.Hum. as he was delivering an opening speech at National Workshop (Rakernas) of National Council of Library and Information Practitioners (MPI) Central Board of Muhammadiyah at Campus III UAD on Thursday (5/5/2016).

Besides improving communication service, UAD also collaborates with Telkom the national telecommunication company with its departments.

For the workshop, Kasiyarno expected that the event could accommodate Muhammadiyah’s Islamic advanced proselytizer. One of the efforts is always to be prepared to catch up with technology development.

By this event, according to Chief of MPI Central Board of Muhammadiyah Dr. Muchals, M.T., MPI was discussing its policy and agenda for 2015-2020 of its working service.

Enhancing The Use of Information Technology for Integration and Internationalization of Islamic Advanced Proselytizer was the theme of the workshop.
