UAD Produces More Title Holders
As long as 2014 the students of University of Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) secured 185 titles for their achievements in various fields. This number improved in 2015 with 259 national and international titles. By March 2016 the number has reached more than 19 students gaining the tattles including the newly secured title of second champion at National Essay Competition of 4th Anniversary of HKMF at Sriwijaya University and 17 medals i.e. 7 gold, 8 silver, and 5 bronze medals were gained by the students at SETU Taekwondo competition held at Ciracas Stadium. And last Wednesday (23/03/2016) Esti Utami a student of Indonesian Education Department (PBSI) became champion in Excellent Young Entrepreneur Student Competition
The improvement in the number title holders is the result of UAD’s effort. Among others done by Deputy III Rector Dr. Abdul Fadlil, M.T. who always encourages and motivates the students to get top achievement. ‘I always inform any championships held by Indonesian Higher Education Board, other national and international higher institutions,’ said Fadlil. Besides that UAD also provides the students with funds for the events he added.
‘In order to support the students to get their ambition, UAD provides trainers in their expertise to train them to be champions. Moreover UAD always awards grants for the champions.’ he added.
